The Course Library

Alongside the live sessions, you’ll have access to a growing library of pre-recorded courses covering kind marketing, building a newsletter, podcasting, and questioning social media. Each season, you choose your own focus, working through whichever course fits where your business is right now. The coworking sessions become your accountability, a regular place to show up, ask questions, and get support as you go.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • Creative, values-led business owners at any stage, brand new or well established
  • People who are tired of hustle culture and hyper-marketing and want something that fits how they actually work
  • Anyone who wants honest strategy alongside real support
  • Folks who’d rather build slowly and sustainably than chase someone else’s version of success

You don’t need to have it figured out. You don’t need to be “further along.” You just need to be willing to show up as you are.

Feedback from my Rooted program

I remember saying in my intake form that I would love to put my business down. I have carried it this far, and now I feel like it needs to hold me and support me too. Somehow, I don’t know how it happened exactly, but I now feel like I am there. I would like to thank you, dear Yarrow, for sharing your wisdom and for holding us all so deeply and softly.

Because of Rooted, I think I might love a spreadsheet for the first time ever. The way you invited us into this process felt interesting and accessible in a way I’ve never experienced with statistics before. I have a better understanding of how it all swirls together.

I appreciated values and integrity being at the core of the programme, and being surrounded by others who seemed to value things like care and justice in their livelihoods. Rooted has helped me structure the tasks I need to do to start my business, and helped stop me falling into an existential crisis after qualifying.

Rooted was incredible. It was a sweet container to explore and keep myself in a steady rhythm. The biggest takeaways I’ve seen in my business are giving myself permission to be more visible, and having a clear understanding of what I need to make to sustain myself.

My values as a business guide

I’m not here to help you make six figures by manipulating people through a sleazy sales funnel – I believe that the days of aggressive marketing are well and truly over and that living through polycrisis requires grid, vision and kindness.

I’m someone who loves to play the long game because I know in my heart that this is my life’s work. This involves building trust in myself and my community, listening to my body and thinking holistically about what is and isn’t sustainable.

Helping you define success on your own terms isn’t just some phrase I use, it’s something I really believe in. An accident in 2020 has shown me that resilience and adaptability are key to building a business that makes you happy and that there is no point in trying to chase someone else’s dreams.

Living and working with limitations, be that in physical abilities, mental health challenges or restraints on your time and energy due to other commitments can be tough, but there are many practical and strategic things we can put in place to make sure we’re setting ourselves up for success.

That’s what I am here to share.

FAQs

When are the live sessions and what if I miss them?

Our co-working sessions will run every first and third Thursday of the month, 6-7:30pm UK (here is a timezone converter) and our themed workshops will be on the second Thursday every month at the same time.

All themed workshops will be recorded, so you can always catch up.

Do I need to be at a certain point in my business?

No, folks at all stages are welcome. You may be just starting out or you may have been doing this for a decade. What matters more is that you are excited about tending to the roots of your work in an embodied, creative and sustainable way.

Will there be time for questions?

Yes, absolutely – there will be time for questions at the end of each workshop as well as at the beginning of each co-working space. I really want you to feel like you are not alone in this!

How long will I have access to the recordings?

You’ll be able to enjoy the course library and the workshop recordings for as long as you are a member.
